Two Sisters Sponsor Survival Games With Team Colors

Christina & Katharine Vann are sisters, just having finished 8th & 7th grade at East Rockford Middle School in Rockford, Michigan. As summers go, the two girls got bored and wanted to do something exciting. Inspired by a nephews superhero themed birthday party photo they saw on Facebook and the memories of their older cousins survival games, they started planning their own Survival Games.

They planned a variety of events, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, water balloon races, water balloon fights, challenge races, scavenger hunt and more. They invited friends from their new school, old school and clubs. Everyone enjoyed a long day of vigorous competition, food & prizes.

To commemorate the event, Katharine designed a superhero themed logo and they ordered an assortment of custom t-shirts from TerrificT in team colors. Each team created their own team poster for their first event before moving on to sports & races. Each event awarded points to the event winning team with the  highest accumulated score being the days winner.

Do You Pass The Cindy Crawford Test?

Unretouched photo of Cindy Crawford at 48.

It's February 2015 and a photo of Cindy Crawford from December 2013 is trending. This previously unreleased photo, was taken during a photo shoot for a 2013 cover story from Marie Claire (Mexico & Latin America) . Now the magazine plans to use this photo in an upcoming issue.

The 48 year old Supermodel said she was inspired to lead by example for the sake of her daughter. In other-words, she encourages her beautiful daughter to Eat Ice Cream! Yeah!

Women around the globe are applauding Cindy for "keeping it real". Said Crawford "I really think—at any age—it's learning to be comfortable in your own skin. ...If women would treat themselves with the same kind of love they give to their friends, that would be such a great gift we could give ourselves. ...What makes you the most attractive is self-confidence. That's what people see."

Do You Pass The Cindy Crawford Test?

  1. Would you post your tummy shot without a Photoshop edit?
  2. Do your children look like pictures cut from Cosmopolitan?
  3. Do you drive to work in a Maserati?
  4. Do you have a beauty mole?
  5. Would your image plastered around the internet inspire women around the globe?
  6. Do you stay in bed if you cannot earn $100,000 per day?
  7. Do you have a home furnishing line?
  8. Were you once married to Richard Gere?
  9. Are you now married to Rande Gerber, entertainment businessman, former model?
  10. Do you wear oversize t-shirts to the beach?
If you answered NO to any of these questions, you probably do not pass.

If you answered YES to #10, you definitely do not pass.

But that's okay, you're real people and we like real people (even real Supermodels).

The good news: you can "Keep It Real" and design your own cool T-Shirt to hide your tummy for about $20. And if you a middle age hottie, we've got tight fitters for you too!

Crazy List of Guinness World Record for Most T-Shirts Worn at One Time

I don't know what you think, but this is hilarious. Think about wearing 150 or even 250 T-Shirts all at one time. I have to think this feat would be suffocating. It's definitely not for the claustrophobic. Here is a list of record holders as best we could compile at the moment. We were quite surprised at how many times this record has been broken in recent years. Note: Some of the dates don't make sense, so we listed in order of number of shirts worn.

Newest Guinness World Record Holder - December 2011 - 257 T-Shirts

The most T-shirts worn at once is 257 and was achieved by Sanath Bandara (Sri Lanka) in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on December 22nd, 2011. The record was attempted on stage in front of a crowd of people in a public park in Colombo. Sanath was victim of the 2008 Weliveriya bombing in Sri Lanka and has attempted to break Guinness World Record ever since.  It took him 1 hour, 7 minutes and 3 seconds to get to 257.

Guinness World Record Holder - May 2011 - 252 T-Shirts

Hwang Kwang-hee (Hangul: 황광희; Hanja: 黃光熙;[1] born on August 25, 1988), also known mononymously as Kwanghee, is a member of the nine-member South Korean boyband ZE:A managed by Star Empire Entertainment. They debuted on January 7, 2010 with the single Mazeltov.[2] Hwang is also well known for being a popular star in the variety show scene.[3]

On May 28, Hwang attended the "2011 Environment Day" event in Seoul, where he participated in a "clothes layering game" and shocked everyone by putting on 252 layers of t-shirts, earning him a Guinness World Record for the most T-shirts worn.

Guinness World Record Holder - January 2012 - 249 T-Shirts

Las Vegas, NV, USA -- Andy Coyne of Greenville managed to wear 249 T-shirts at one time, which weighed in at more than 200 pounds, at an industry trade show in Las Vegas - setting the new world record for the Most T-shirts worn at once, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

Guinness World Record Holder - November 2011 - 247 T-Shirts

On November 11, 2011, Tom Rauen of Dubuque, Iowa USA at the Diamond Jo Casino, broke the World Record by wearing 247 T-Shirts at one-time. Tom Rauen trained for months to prepare for what he expected might take 2.5 hours or more. Although time has nothing to do with this record, Rauen’s team helped him put on shirt #247 after just an hour and forty-five minutes. The last shirt was a Size 20X, and was large enough to cover a queen- sized mattress. Three past world record holders in this category have been from the USA.

Guinness World Record Holder -  May 2010 - 245 T-Shirts

In Croatia, Kruno Budiselic managed to put on 245 T-shirts ranging in size from M to XL in less then two hours - setting the new world record for the Most T-Shirts Worn at One Time.  In total Budiselic put on around 68 kilos with T-shirts ranging in size from M to XL in less then two hours.
At one point he warned judges he thought he might have to quit when he felt he was being throttled by the neckbands. At the end of the competition the Croat told Novi list daily he felt a crisis coming somewhere around the 120th T-shirt, and now feels a slight pain in his neck.

Previously the record was set live on The Early Show by Matt McAllister on September 15th, 2006. He donned 155 screen printed t-shirts in 4 hours, sizes Small through 10XL, adding 100 pounds.
We found this unbelievable and have shared it in the past at the TerrificT Facebook page.

My Plans For TerrificT Blog Category Pages

Mr. Terrific Blog Page Plans for TerrificT
"I've Got Big Plans for My TerrificT Blog"
So here's the deal. At the time of this writing, I figure no one will  actually ever read this post. I'm just getting started. But it does serve a purpose. So if you are reading this, let me tell you ever so briefly what is coming.

What I've Been Up To At TerrifcT

When I'm not managing our screen-printing or embroidery operations, I'm working tirelessly on our website www.TerrificT.com for custom t-shirts and apparel.

Production and customers keep me and my crew really, really busy, but I do love web design and improving the user experience for ordering t-shirts online. It's a challenge & it's fun, but it does keep me up through the wee hours of the night. This doesn't always make Mrs. Terrific very happy, but she believes in what we are doing.

Why TerrificT Will Blog

Our website is doing great, but now it's time to get busy with a blog. I've been putting it off for too long and it's a shame. I've been a screen printer since 1987, decorating garments for a wide variety of customers from a local sports teams to large national corporations.

We excel and 4-color process (full color) screen-printing, t-shirt design, quick turns and large volume production. All these years of experience can offer great insight to help our customers buy custom t-shirts and apparel. So I plan to use this blog to educate custom apparel buyers plus have some fun.

TerrificT Blog Category Plans

After creating a list of roughly 25 ideas for our blog, I realized it should be categorized and easily accessible. So we have created 5 Blog Pages to help navigate our Primary Categories.

The Pages are:

  • Custom T-Shirt & Apparel Buying Tips
  • Custom T-Shirt & Apparel Case Scenarios
  • How To Order Online Custom T-Shirt & Apparel
  • Custom T-Shirt & Apparel Promotions
  • Fun Custom Apparel Stories

  • By the time you read this, hopefully the pages will be full of content that will help you with buying custom t-shirts and apparel . So that's it for now.
